Effective October 1, 2009 Time Warner Cable has been providing the playback of tapes on Government and Public Access Channels. If a resident of our Town wishes to have the programming aired on the channel, a program request form needs to be submitted to Time Warner. The forms are available on this website here:

As part of the Parma Bicentennial Celebration, the Parma Town Board commemorated the 200th anniversary of the first Town Board meeting at their April 7th meeting. Homer Marple read and presented a proclamation which included text from the minutes of the first meeting of April 4, 1809.

Public Hearing Continued for Agriculture and Farmland Protection Plan
The revised draft for the proposed Agriculture and Farmland Protection Plan was received at the March 3, 2009 Town Board meeting. Public Hearing Planned Development –Senior Residential
The Town Board of the Town of Parma held a public hearing to consider the enactment of Introductory Local Law No. 1-2009, a local law establishing an overlay zoning district to be added to the Parma Town Code and called Planned Development – Senior Residential District (PD-SR). The public hearing was at the Parma Town Hall on the 3rd day of February 2009. Upon the enactment of such local law, Planned Development – Senior Residential (PD-SR) will be Chapter 165 Article V Section 165-36.1 of the Town Code of the Town of Parma. A full and complete text of the proposed local law is presently on file in the Town Clerk’s office where it may be examined by all interested persons during normal business hours. Town of Parma Seeks Applicants for Local Boards
Parma residents interested in serving on a local board should submit an application to the Parma Town Clerk’s office. The Town Board is looking to create a base of interested persons for current and upcoming openings. Applicants with an interest or relevant skill are encouraged to apply. The Town’s Boards include: Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, Conservation Advisory Board, Library Board, Recreation Board, Farmland and Open Space Preservation Committee and Board of Assessment Review.
