The Town Board appoints the
Town Assessor for a term of six years. The Assessor's duties are specified
in the New York State Real Property Tax Law and generally focus upon the
maintenance of up-to-date records on the valuation of real property within
the Town of Parma. The Assessor prepares an annual assessment roll, which
is used to formulate the tax liability due for each parcel of real property
in the Town.
